Styrofoam Christmas Tree Craft

What you’ll need:

  • Styrofoam cone
  • Styrofoam star
  • Green tissue paper
  • Yellow paint
  • Gold glitter
  • Glue
  • Jingle bells
  • Red beads
  • Paint brush
  • Wooden dowel (small) (or an ice-cream stick will do the same)
  • Paint brush

How to make your Styrofoam Christmas Tree Craft

  • Paint the styrofoam star yellow and set aside to dry.
  • Rip the green tissue paper into small pieces and crumble slightly.  Use the paintbrush to “paint” a coat of glue onto the styrofoam cone.  Press the tissue paper into the glue so that the entire cone is covered.
  • Glue the beads and jingle bells onto the cone over the paper as ornaments.
  • Once the star is dry cover with glue and sprinkle gold glitter onto the star.
  • Cut or break the wooden dowel in half.  Push half of the wooden dowel into the star and down into the top of the cone.
