Add to that mix Imagination, Reading, Writing, Illustration and Script Writing and you have all the key ingredients for another
amazing literature festival.
Now in its 17th year, Voices on the Coast Youth Literature Festival offers a wide selection of workshops and literary events for students as well as the broader Sunshine Coast community.
This year, Voices will be held from 2-6 June with 27 guest authors, poets and illustrators sharing their knowledge in a series of talks and workshops at the University of the Sunshine Coast. A number of Voices plus events will also be held including adult writing workshops and a Literary Breakfast with Judy Nunn.
“Starting in 1996 with only 13 presenters and 23 schools, the festival now attracts over 4,500 students from 75 schools across the Coast and beyond,” said Festival Coordinator Kelly Dunham
