Vitaco Health Australia is undertaking a voluntary consumer recall of the following products:
• Healtheries Kidscare Rice Wheels – Cheese, Roast Chicken and Burger in the 10 x 18g Multipacks
• Healtheries The Wiggles Ricey Bites in 8 x 15g Multipacks.
The products have a best before date of 04/01/13 or earlier.
“We take food safety seriously, and the wellbeing of our consumers is our top priority,” said General Manager of Vitaco Health Australia Ryan d’Almeida.
“Glass has been found in a small number of rice-based products. Thankfully, there have been no reports of injury however if
anyone is concerned they should consult their medical practitioner.
“If you have any of these products at home, please return them to your retailer for a full refund.
“We sincerely apologise for this inconvenience,” said Mr d’Almeida
Other Healtheries products, including Healtheries Kidscare Potato Stix and Corn Tubes are not affected.
