Product: Plush toy dog provided free to consumers with purchase of 8 litres or more of certain Dulux paint products as part of the ‘Jelly
Beans and me’ promotion. The dog is as pictured above and has a small white tag with Dulux written on one side. The dogs were provided from 15 August 2011 until stock ran out.
Defect/Hazard: Some of the fur of the toy dog may come away when pulled, sucked or chewed, and may pose a choking hazard to children aged 3 and below. Importantly, the toy dog complies with the Australian Standard and the applicable Regulation, and Dulux has had no reports of injury related to the dog. However, Dulux is recalling the dogs as a safety precaution, and apologises for any inconvenience.
What to do: Stop using the toy, and contact us on Freecall 1300 131 277 to exchange the toy dog for a replacement or equivalent.
